Welcome to the page of Quantum Device Laboratory (QDL)
Our laboratory has been launched in 2015 at the Physics Department of İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH). We explore the properties and technological applications of graphene and other 2D materials and also low-dimensional semiconductor nanostructures including quantum wells, quantum wires and quantum dots. Our current research specifically focuses on the growth, fabrication and characterisation of graphene as transparent conductive electrode, oxide semiconductor based hybrid electronic/optoelectronic devices, vacuum electronics based on semiconductor nanostructures and nanoscale quantum tunneling devices operating as field emitting electron source. QDL is always interested in national and international scientific collaborations.
