Welcome to the page of Quantum Device Laboratory
Our laboratory has been launched in 2015 at the Physics Department of İzmir Institute of Technology. The primary aim of QDL is to explore new materials, novel fabrication techniques and novel device concepts for future’s micro/nano-electronic and optoelectronic systems. We investigate the properties and technological applications of graphene and other two-dimensional (2D) materials as well as their heterostructures with conventional semiconductors. Our researches mainly focus on the design, fabrication and characterization of 2D material based ultra-sensitive physical, chemical and biological solid-state sensors. We are doing so by assembling a group of physicists, chemists and engineers to tackle complex, interdisciplinary problems. QDL is always interested in national and international scientific collaborations
