Prof. Dr. Cem Çelebi Principal Investigator Prof. Çelebi received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands in 2009. He worked as Post-doctoral researcher at the Nanotechnology Research and Application Center of Sabancı University in İstanbul for three years. In 2012 he joined the Physics Department at İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) as Assistant Professor and currently he is working as Professor of Physics in the same institute. In 2017, he was appointed as the Director of Center for Materials Research of IZTECH. His main research interests are Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Nanoscience/Nanotechnology, Graphene/other 2D Materials, Semiconductor Device Physics and Scanning Probe Microscopy Techniques |

He worked as a Post-doctoral researcher in Bilkent University, Sabancı University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Yale University and İzmir Institute of Technology in the fields of surface physics, low dimensional material physics and nanomaterials physics.
